Sviyazhsk
Approximately in thirty kilometers from the city of Kazan upwards on the river Volga, in a place of a confluence of it of the river Svijaga, on small high island one of relics of Russian Orthodoxy - village Svijazhsk is located.
In a place of crossing of ancient trading and transport ways (on a legend - on bulk island!) more four centuries ago monks-devotees had been founded some man's and female monasteries which white walls and today are from apart visible to all arriving on island.
Up to now on island it was kept six churches, and during former time their number reached already eleven!
Of the temples which have sunk into nonexistence remind today waste grounds only covered by a beaten brick yes memorial wooden crosses...
